You can install most of the following software that will be use for excercices. However to prevent some installation issue, two virtual machines will run them. One is dedicated to the Image Reconstruction and the other run the rest of them.

Material setup instructions

Most of the software will be provided through a virtul machine (VM) image:

• VM will be delivered using VirtualBox
  • Download and install VirtualBox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
  • You may have to restart your computer and enter the bios to enable fast mode running virtual machines

Setup of the virtual machine (VM) dedicated to the first set of exercice (Obs. preparation, Data Reduction, Data Analysis)

• The appliance image has been prepared using virtualbox V 4.3.8
• You can download it from ftp://ftpipag.obs.ujf-grenoble.fr/outgoing/ubuntu14_jmmc_vltischool_03092015_0800.ova ( /!\ 2.5 GB file)
• Then run VirtualBox and select the image file through the File>Import Appliance... menu

• This VM provides : Aspro2, amdlib, pndrs, LITpro, OIFitsExplorer, SearchCal
