Material setup instructions
Most of the software will be provided through a virtul machine (VM) image:- VM will be delivered using VirtualBox
- Download and install VirtualBox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
- You may have to restart your computer and enter the bios to enable fast mode running virtual machines
- Download and install VirtualBox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Setup of the virtual machine (VM) dedicated to the first set of exercice (Obs. preparation, Data Reduction, Data Analysis)
- The appliance image has been prepared using virtualbox V 4.3.8
- You can download it from ftp://ftpipag.obs.ujf-grenoble.fr/outgoing/ubuntu14_jmmc_vltischool_03092015_0800.ova ( /!\ 2.5 GB file)
- Then run VirtualBox and select the image file through the
File>Import Appliance...menu
- This VM provides : Aspro2, amdlib, pndrs, LITpro, OIFitsExplorer, SearchCal
- Note
- If you want to edit the wiki, you must use your JMMC/IPAG twiki login or create a new one.
