Hello everyone 🙂

I am Julie Magri, a second year PhD student working in the XLIM laboratory in Limoges. My thesis is funded by the CNES and Thales Alenia Space.

I am working on the implementation of a fibered up-conversion interferometer at 3.5 µm (L-band) at the CHARA Array, Mount Wilson observatory (CA, USA). The name of this project is ALOHA for Astronomical Light Optical Hybrid Analysis Astronomical Light Optical Hybrid.

I have exposed a poster in the poster room if you want more information.

Beside science, I love to watch anime, read mangas, play video games and cook. I also like to do sport and visit new places (nature, cities, countries…).

One of my dream is to visit Japan one day.

I would be happy to meet everyone online during the VLTI school ! 😄

PS : You can contact me by mail if you have any questions about my work :
