HI everyone!

My name is Gabriele, 3rd year PhD student at ETH Zürich. My main interests are giant planet formation and evolution. My research focuses on understanding the processes that drive planet formation, identifying the connection between planets and their birth places (protoplanetary disks), as well as determining the chemical composition of atmospheres of young planets.

To do that, I used several instruments like NaCo, SPHERE, SINFONI and hopefully CRIRES+ at the VLT, and I’m the Principal Investigator of an accepted JWST proposal to image for the first time a forming planet identified by local perturbations of gas kinematic in the disk.
