Hi everyone, I’m Dongjin, and I’m a Ph.D. student at Max-Planck institute for radio astronomy. I’m originally from South Korea, and currently living in Bonn, Germany.

My research area is the feedback and fueling process of AGN. I’ve been using radio interferometry to understand how molecular gas behaves in the innermost region of AGN on pc or sub-pc scales. Circum-stellar envelops of evolved stars were also one of my research areas. I’m highly interested in a multi-wavelength study using both radio and infrared interferometry. By doing this, molecular gas and dust in various astrophysical environments can be spatially resolved. I wish I could find a chance to collaborate with people who are interested in such studies.

Anyhow, although we are having VLTI school online, I believe that we could meet in person after the VLTI school at some conference or seminar. Feel free to contact me If you have a plan to visit around my city. One of the best beers in Germany is ready for you 😀.
