Hello,

My name is Anas, I’m a teacher at the University of Baghdad – College of Science- Astronomy and Space department. I have finished my Ph.D. study at the University of Cologne, 2018. My thesis and study about protoplanetary disk around one of the Herbig Star HD 179218. I have used the GTC telescope to study the protoplanetary and debris disk around stars. Prof.Labadie was my supervisor during my Ph.D. study and I have learned from him and his group a lot, they are very helpful.

I am interested in getting to know more about the interferometry technique for observing and studying the protoplanetary disk around the stars, data reduction, and image reconstruction. I think this school is appropriate to learn how to do that.
