Although there is a small airport very close to Keszthely (called Balaton/Sarmellek, airport code SOB, http://www.flybalaton.com/), the main airports are in Budapest. There are scheduled flights of low cost companies to all of these airports. It might be interesting to note that the airport of Vienna is at the same distance from Keszthely as Budapest.
From Sarmellek, you can take a taxi to the hotel. There are also buses from the airport to Keszthely.
From Budapest, Keszthely can be reached directly with shuttles, costs 35 EUR/person (one way). Note that we must order these shuttles in due time.
Of course, train is another option, please check the timetables at the website of the Hungarian Railways. However, then first one should cross Budapest either with a taxi (1 hour) or public transport (roughly 1.5 hours, if one knows the environment!). 1. The taxi+train costs around 30 EUR, 2. bus, underground and train tickets together cost appr. 20 EUR.
NEW: timetable of buses: it is in Hungarian, but might be easy to decode.
