ICARE & MMD

In order to present the ICARE project, we provide an example of a server development based on a real case : MMD server. The MMD server run on a WIN32 system and is based on the ICARE modules.

Have a look on the ICARE web page to discover the Environnement.

In order to access ICARE functionnalities under windows, an installer is provided to simplify the installation of libraries. First, retreive with your favorite CVS client (for windows, see Tortoise CVS manual page), the icains module.

In icains/win32, run the "LAOG Software setup.exe" which is the installer of the ICARE software for windows. From now, you can develop application on windows using ICARE.

The MMD server is able to:

• Send an image of 1024x1024 pixel coded on 8 bits. GETIMG command
• Send echo reply. ECHO command
• Setup n device. As an example, setup is offered for 3 device. New SETUP command.
• Send satus of this devices. New STATUS command.
