Comments from the teachers & tech support:

  • Anthony : I like Gather.Town so much that I am thinking of moving-in in the Hidden-Forest cottage 😁

  • Laurent: that was hard to prepare & follow up, but congratulations to all

  • Florentin : Heavy preparation, but great rewards on this very successful school! Thanks to everyone: the co-organizers (Anthony, Alexis), the SOC, LOC, the teachers, and last but not least the JMMC tech gurus Guillaume and Laurent. Thanks also to the students for their great participation and fantastic proposals!

  • Guillaume: Nice school! Thank you to Anthony and Florentin for the gathertown setup and hint to reach space from the hidden room. Thank you for participating!

Comments from the students (and teachers):

  • Hiyam: met many great people and felt the great effort put into organizing this successful event 😀

  • Kevin: that was an awesome 2 weeks ! It would have been better in IRL obviously. Great organization though ;)

  • Catalina: this school was great! Thank you so much for organizing it :) (there are some talks which slides are still not in Nuclino - will you make those available too?)

  • Akke: thanks so much for organising such a great school! Although an IRL school would have been better, the adaption to the circumstances has come out really well. The gathertown place was really nice as well.

  • Emma: I was surprised by the online organisation of the school! You put so much effort to make a pleasant space in GatherTown. As such we could meet people and have nice discussion almost like in real life :D. The 4-hour slot per day is perfect, not too much but but enough to do the whole program in 2 weeks. I would have liked a poster session where we could have a little more connection with people according to our research topic. As Catalina said, it could be great to have the slides of the talks (if possible :))
