The JMMC ObsPortal service

Provides both a web interface and a cone-search service (TAP in the future) on its database of observation logs.

At the moment we harvest the useful metadata (names, dates, instruments, observation type, weather conditions etc) of the following instruments:

• All VLTI observations (observing blocks & exposures) since beginning.
• Supported instruments are MIDI, AMBER, PIONIER, GRAVITY, MATISSE.

Our ObsPortal is used by ASPRO to interactively show already existing observations for an ASPRO target. ESO requires that every target of a proposal should be checked against the ESO data base to avoid duplicate observations, this is just too easy now with ASPRO and ObsPortal.
